SDAssoc’s. KNPV-USA
Through special authorization and membership in the original KNPV organization in the Netherlands, Service Dog Association (SDAssoc.) has been approved to offer, without compromise, both the PH-1 & PH-2 Certificates of Capacity in the United States America. SDAssoc. functions as the umbrella organization under which PH-1 & PH-2 CoC’s may be awarded.
Just as, United Schutzhund Clubs of America’s (USA’s) judges, helpers, and the Schutzhund (VPG) titles earned under USA are recognized by the VDH in Germany; so SDAssoc’s judges, decoys, and the KNPV-USA PH-1 & PH-2 Certificates of Capacity earned under Service Dog Association, are fully recognized by the Dutch KNPV organization.
Service Dog Association’s rules and regulations for its KNPV-USA PH-1 & PH-2 CoC’s are equal to those in offered by the Dutch KNPV. As with the KNPV PH-1 & PH-2’s earned in Holland, SDAssoc’s KNPV-USA PH-1 & PH-2 CoC’s are awarded in the U.S.A. for a two year period. Working dog /handler teams must re-certify every two years to keep their certifications up to date.
SDAssoc. has certified judges, certified decoys, and other knowledgeable personnel to provide training seminars to forming clubs and members. North American K-9 Teams trained and/or certified in SDAssoc’s. KNPV-USA program are welcome, if they wish, to attempt their initial PH-1, PH-2 or to re-certify in Holland.
The KNPV dog is not a “sport” dog . . . it is a true, hard-nosed, high-level working dog that the world considers the “best of the best”. Service Dog Association offers you an opportunity to reach the training pinnacle of the canine world.
